9 ribs of tulip satinwood, western red cedar belly. In good playing condition, some minor repair to the edge rib, bass side, minor wear to belly.

The action is excellent and it has a good strong, bright sound. As with many of Peter's instruments, this lute employs carbon reinforced lattice bracing under the bridge.
