ca. 1900, Stamped ORSO.

A particularly good quality instrument of 11 nicely figured maple ribs with ebony spacers, maple neck and well carved pegbox mounted by a square floral emblem. Excellent quality machines in perfect order, a very elaborate and intact rose carved into the belly and a black-stained ornamentally carved pearwood bridge. The scalloped fingerboard retains its original frets and all body frets are present.

The instrument is playable with a good tone, but would benefit from some further work.

Sold as-is with a new fibreglass fitted case.
